Rawcous Kitchen is a plant-based café in Bookham. We are open as a cafe Thursday and Friday and we now deliver our delicious whole food, plant-based, chef made bowls and treats directly to your door in time for lunch or dinner, Wednesday to Friday. 

Place your order by 9pm for delivery the next day. So order Tuesday by 9pm for delivery on  Wednesday, 9pm Wednesday for Thursday delivery and 9pm Thursday for Friday delivery.

Delivery is £3 locally if you spend over £15 (Bookham, Effingham, Fetcham, Leatherhead) and £5 if you are within a 3-5 mile radius, with a minimum £25 spend (Ashtead, Dorking, Cobham and Oxshott). 

PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK FOR YOU TO CONFIRM A DELIEVRY SLOT BUT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THIS TIME. PLEASE WRITE IN THE COMMENTS WHEN ORDERING IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR DELIVERY SUCH AS A SAFE PLACE IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE IN.

Using a pre-order model enables us to get all the ingredients needed to make your delicious meals and treats fresh for you, eliminating the stress of meal planning, shopping, prep and also reducing waste. All of our meals are either ready to eat or ready at home in minutes, enabling you to eat healthy delicious meals no matter how busy you are, without having to sign up to a subscription.

We believe in a well-rounded and sustainable approach to food and nutrition. There is more evidence than ever of the power of plants and eating a rainbow of plant based foods packed with nutrients, fibre, phytochemicals and antioxidants.

 

Our Story

Welcome To Rawcous Kitchen

Mark started Rawcous Kitchen in 2021 to bring delicious plant-based whole food to people, celebrating the diversity and flavours of whole plant-based foods.

Mark’s vision is to encourage more people to eat plant-based and healthy food, without compromising on taste.

Since moving to a vegan diet in 2016, he then retrained as a Natural Vegan chef (Diploma via College of Naturopathic Medicine) and loves cooking plant-based foods for his family, customers, private events and regular themed supper clubs.

We are always striving to be less wasteful and more sustainable, using whole foods with pronounceable names, using biodegradable packaging, composting our food waste (or utilising to make our own stocks and sauces) and developing strong relationships with local suppliers where possible. We try to use organic produce and those on the clean 15 list (low pesticide produce).

We hope you enjoy our honest, healthy and delicious options either in our relaxing cafe or as a takeaway.

At Rawcous Kitchen we use fresh, seasonal and high quality produce, making as much as possible from scratch.

Buddha Bowl

Brown basmati rice with a sweet potato, carrot and red cabbage Asian slaw, shredded tofu, edamame and sliced avocado. Topped with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, crispy onions and siracha sauce.

Pad Thai Bowl

Rice noodles, raw oriental vegetables in a raw zesty tomato and peanut sauce. Topped with air fried tofu cubes, spring onions, crispy onions, sesame seeds and crushed peanuts.

Vietnamese Bowl

A zesty Vietnamese sauce on mung bean noodles with raw vegetables including red pepper, carrot, cucumber. Topped with air fried crispy tofu, spring onions, crispy onions, and Asian herbs, peanuts and sesame seeds.

Falafel Bowl

Tricolour quinoa, air fried falafel, roasted sweet potato, massaged kale, hummus, cucumber, tomato, red onion and parsley salad topped with seeds, pomegranate and a lemon tahini sauce.

Sticky Toffee Pudding

A delightful portion of sticky toffee pudding with a refined sugar free sticky toffee sauce to pour over. Both can be heated up at home as will arrive cold.

A gluten free nut and coconut based cheesecake. Deliciously smooth and sweet but refined sugar free (touch of agave).
